The Definitive Guide to Training Program Design — Jordan Syatt
Jordan Syatt does an awesome job of covering the whole spectrum of principles that a successful training program should include. On first impressions this piece appears directed at fitness professionals; this is true.
That said, one consistent theme in the great feedback from many of you I’ve spoken to who regularly read RHP’s blogs and articles is that you benefit from RHP as your ‘fitness filter’. You know you’re getting the highest quality information and that you can quickly and easily put the content you get here into practice straight away.
As such, Syatt’s great article makes RHP’s top spot this month to let you invest 15-20 minutes to understand these fundamental training program design principles, then go and put together a plan for your own training. It will be better than the vast majority of other ‘off-the-shelf’ or ‘go-with-the-flow’ plans.
All you have to do now is put in the hard yards.
P.S. – the Precision Nutrition article ‘It won’t kill you to grill’ down below in the ‘Nutrition’ section almost made the top spot (by simple virtue of the fact that we’re now in BBQ season (in the UK) and few things in this world can beat a perfectly-grilled feast).
